Working in small groups, students will research fairy tales and their country of origin. Each person in the group will be assigned a different research role. Landscaper: the history and geography of the country. Tailor: historical and modern clothing worn by the people. Butler: the historical and modern festivals and holidays of the country. Cook: the local food. The assignment will culminate in a bibliography page, a brief written reflection about the research, and a recipe that correlates to the assigned fairy tale.
