The Feelings Circle program is designed to increase positive peer interactions and decrease discipline referrals in your students with by increasing emotional awareness and empathy in your students. This program was specifically designed to serve the needs of students with Autism, Emotional Disturbance, and ADHD who need explicit instruction in social skills.
The Feeling Circle Bundle included two Leaders Guides and two Workbooks. One each geared for K-3 and 4-6. The K-3 materials have animal themes. The 4-6 programs have people themes.
The Leaders guide has everything you need to run both a:
•New Feeling Circle (New Feelings are introduced)
• Feeling Circle (Maintenance)
The step-by-step guide includes
•How to successfully set up and run each feeling circle
•Definitions of each feeling
•Description of how your body may feel when you are having that emotion
•Examples of why a child may have that feeling
•Large line drawn picture which highlights the changes in mouth, eyes, and eyebrows associated with that picture
Workbook includes (grades 2-3 and 4-6)
•Journal form for each feeling
•”Today I feel” journal form template for use in maintenance program
