This is an assessment to use at the end of the novel The Fifth of March by Ann Rinaldi. It has four sections, including a character matching, multiple choice, short answer, and extended response. The extended response required the students to think critically about whether or not the Boston Massacre was rightfully named, or if it should have been considered a riot instead. They are to use evidence from the text to support their claim.
I have updated the document to also include an answer key.
