This activity allows students to gain a more thorough understanding of the Bill of Rights. Students will be required to fill in the blanks for each amendment. The words selected for the students to fill in are all words which are extremely important to the meaning and interpretation of the Bill of Rights. In doing so, these words will stick out to students, increasing the potential to retain the most important ideas within the Bill of Rights. A word bank is provided so that this activity may be used as a learning tool or an assessment. An answer key is also included. This is a great lesson for students of all ages!
