Are your kids ready for the state test?
We all certainly know how hard YOU have worked, and your students have worked just as hard as their little minds can up until the test comes.
Why not get them excited for the big day to be here? To encourage them to keep up their hard work until the actual test I have created a list of about 20 prizes for you to choose from to give your students the will to want to come to school each day. Everyone likes to appreciated - especially kids. With free prizes like stinky feet, extra recess and sit by a buddy at lunch it doesn't have to weigh heavily on your pockets. There are a few prizes in there that could be covered by one quick trip to the Dollar Store also such as a new pencil, stickers, and colorful pens. Trust me, all of this was designed with our teacher budgets in mind.
It's simple. Choose the prizes you'd like to give. Print them out and roll them up into deflated balloons. Then blow up your balloons and number the bottoms of them as you go so you remember which day to pop which balloon. It will also help to mark them down in your calendar or notebook to have the prizes ready before hand.
A little extra effort on our behalf to inspire our students to keep up their hard work is definitely worth it to me.
Hang in there teachers and please stop by the rest of my store of visit my blog at plpencils.blogspot.com.
Thanks all - Amanda Bathman
