PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This is a worksheet that can be incorporated into a lesson on the conflicting ideologies of Hamilton and Jefferson, The National Bank, or the origins of the Federalist and Democratic-Republican Parties. In this activity, students are expected to read and summarize 6 quotations related to the creation of the National Bank. The summary is done in the form of a "tweet." Students compose a tweet based on the quotation with a hash tag that summarizes the quote in as few words as possible. In addition, students must identify the author of the quotation, as either Hamilton or Jefferson, and they can create a clever Twitter address for both. Great way to incorporate primary sources, literacy, students' interests, and the common core!
