This play has 4 acts and 22 parts. The parts can easily be doubled up or reduced if you have more or less students.The scenes include the pilgrim village of Plymouth, a Wampanoag village, a field / woods, and Plymouth on the day of the first Thanksgiving.
The Turkey is a character that is in all 4 acts. The Turkey overhears the pilgrim and Indian children talking about eating him and reacts with shock and fear. The turkey is always on the sidelines and speaks only to the audience.
In the first three acts, only the characters speaking should be in the scene. In the last act, all characters should be part of the scene.
