Love using stories in therapy? Fairy tales and folk tales are great for teaching about story elements and other language skills. They have definite problems with solutions and interesting characters and settings. Help your students - especially those with language disorders - learn about story elements and help them with story retelling with this resource. It uses the story to build language skills; such as sequencing, retelling, and using descriptive vocabulary.

The information in the introduction includes a hierarchy of questions to ask during reading.

  • I bought this and the book to work with my Autisic grandson who needs to work on his comprehension. This is perfect, lots of variety and activities to keep him interested in the learning process.

  • This was a valuable resource that I used for my students with special needs so that they could also develop comprehension skills. Brilliant and comprehensive.
