Pg. 28-29 My Quotation Book! – a foldable book that helps you practice your quotations – write a famous quote in the comment bubble – use quotations around the quote – write the famous person’s name on the line and add details to the stick figure – write three quotes in all
Pg. 30- 37 On Your Mark, Get Set, Go! - A craft and writing activity – copy off the patterns onto your choice of colored paper (the shoe openings on black) – glue together as seen in the picture – punch holes in the eyelets and add yarn for shoelaces (about 18 inches long for each one) before gluing shoes to a large piece of paper – attach the writing paper to the bottom of the large piece of paper – students can write about a race they were in, where they would want to run to – would they race across the country for $25,000 – compare two types of races – these are just a few ideas for using this writing paper
