Engage your students with this fun activity testing and improving their understanding of writing chemical formula of elements, ionic compounds and covalent chemicals. This activity can be used as an end of lesson or revision aid and lasts 20-30 minutes.
How to play:
Roll two die and write the formula or name of the chemical (i.e. if you roll 1,3 write the formula for potassium nitrate).
Check your answer and if you write the correct formula you get a point.
The winner is whoever has the most points when your teacher says the game is over.
