The Game of Fears is a fun vocabulary exercise that I created in conjunction with Halloween. I use it with my ESL students, but it could also be used for middle or high school English students. It is essentially a vocabulary scavenger hunt where the student finds the meanings of phobias and then tries to find people who have these phobias. They are all real phobias, but can be serious, fear of bacteria, to odd, the fear of belly buttons.
