Students will explore ancient Greece by examining its geography. Unlike the other ancient civilizations we have studied, Greece does not have any major waterways running through it. Rather, they were surrounded by water. Students will be able to identify what affect the geography had on the people living there just by inferring. The people may be affected in a good or bad way its will up the student to decide. After the students have inferred they will see what started to occur as a result of this in their reading.
