I use word searches to introduce vocabulary, or even just give it as morning work. They are also great to glue in writing notebooks for future writing topics. Perfect for a sub, too. Have your students write about the meaning of The Gettysburg Address. Have them define certain words. Maybe they could illustrate their thinking. Use this Gettysburg Address word search however you would like in your classroom.
