Product Description
The Gettysburg Address: Are you studying the Civil War or Abraham Lincoln? How about discussing The Gettysburg Address with your students. This is a fun format to present the speech, which will also encourage a discussion. Your students will enjoy this fun "Gettysburg Address" word search!! If your students are like mine, they love these.

In this Gettysburg Address themed puzzle, words are found forward, backward, up, down, and diagonal. I would consider it on the challenging side since students are looking for words in all directions, and the content may be more suitable for upper elementary.

I use word searches to introduce vocabulary, or even just give it as morning work. They are also great to glue in writing notebooks for future writing topics. Perfect for a sub, too. Have your students write about the meaning of The Gettysburg Address. Have them define certain words. Maybe they could illustrate their thinking. Use this Gettysburg Address word search however you would like in your classroom.
