Venn Diagram – Compare & contrast two different books (cut & paste the book pictures onto the Venn diagram before you photocopy).

Writing Ideas:

Then What..? – Students write what would happen if the fox did not eat the Gingerbread Man.
Dear Gingerbread Man Letter – Students write a letter to the Gingerbread Man. It could be from themselves or from the perspective of the old woman/man, the fox, or one of the animals chasing him!
What Did They Say? Cartoon – Students fill in the speech bubbles of the cartoon.
My Fractured Fairy Tale Story Map – Students write their own version of the Gingerbread Man. They choose a gingerbread character, four characters to chase it, and an ending (does he/she get eaten or survive?).
My Fractured Fairy Tale Good Copy –Photocopy double-sided on 8x14” paper (flip on short side) and staple in the middle to make a good copy book.
