OH NO, the power just went out OR the network is down OR the copier broke with those worksheets you just _had_ to have today OR the bulb in the overhead projector blew OR you spent half of the day outside for a bomb threat and NOW, NOW, all your lesson plans are thrown off- what do you do?
You play a game!
Stop being ordinary and be extra prepared. These are the days that people from the central office will come in to observe your classroom . So, you need peace of mind. Here are questions and answers to play RACE TO THE BOARD with your content.
This is a great time filler, effective review, and mental and physical stimulator! You don’t need technology. You don’t need anything that isn’t in your classroom.
Divide the class into 2 or 3 teams. Each team needs a representative or you can take turns- ask a question, and the first person to write the correct answer on the board wins a point for their team. They can form lines and do a relay line. You award points- give hints. This is more fun than survival. You probably break the speed limit driving- so break Murphy's Law and make a bad day a great day! Click "Add to Cart" and rest easy.
