Product Description
In this assignment, students are asked to analyze whether or not the film version of the play stays true to Tennessee Williams intention that this play was a "quiet play." Students begin with a warm up to activate their prior knowledge on the topic. Then while they watch the movie they fill in a graphic organizer. This activity will work with whatever version of the movie you have. It could also work with live productions of the play. To extend the lesson for more advanced students or for extra credit, students should use the graphic organizer as the basis for an argumentative essay about the topic.
