Description

This presentation uses chocolate as a case study to help students understand the processes associated with globalization. Students will discuss the differences between free trade and fair trade and spend time analyzing the life cycle of a chocolate bar -- in other words, they will understand how globalization requires multiple steps in order to take a product from an agricultural crop to a chocolate bar on a store shelf thousands of miles from its ingredients' places of origin.
