Pg. 30-32 Let Me Tell you How to Make My Favorite Sandwich – cut out the front and back bread slices, cut out whatever shapes your are going to use in the middle of your sandwich, write the steps on how to make it using words like first, then, next, last – put your sandwich in a baggie when you are done
Pg. 33-36 My Weaving Creation – copy the two pages onto various colored construction paper, choose two contrasting colors, fold the one in half and cut on the dotted lines until you reach the solid line – this is your frame - cut the other one on the lines to form strips – take the strips and weave them through the frame under and over – doing over and under with the next strip and alternating until you are done, glue the ends down and trim sides if you need to – You can write about how you made it or what you would use it for… a rug , a blanket, a wall hanging?
Pg. 37-43 Yarn Matches! - place the cards face down in rows, play the game like concentration - put your matching yarn in your basket – can be laminated – for 2-4 players
