Description
The Golden Rule is a must have component when heading back to school and beginning a new year. This resource is perfect for K-2 students learning about character, responsibility and friendship.
I use The Golden Ruler in my classroom as part of my introduction to the Golden Rule and responsibility.
This resource includes:
⭐Mini-lesson on The Golden Rule and character with an ANCHOR CHART
⭐Interactive Reader - students will demonstrate their learning and concept mastery by completing this reader independently (great for assessment) or the book can be read and completed as a group.
⭐Card Game - Great for independent practice or placing in word work centers. This game encourages students to recognize positive character traits. With adorable visuals and clear words - perfect for identifying beginning sounds and making connections - this game fits well in a word work center.
⭐Writing Lesson with a variety of writing plan black lines to meet the needs of a variety of students. There are pre-write sheets that span later Kinder through 3rd grade writing skills. The pack includes a detailed lesson plus a sample that will not only help reluctant writers, but teachers not too fond of teaching writing as well.
⭐Craft/Stationery black lines are adorably cute and the finished product makes an excellent bulletin board.
