This is a sign language enhanced version of Nancy Antle's book, The Good Bad Cat. Sign language vocabulary is included as well as picture vocabulary and sight words that you can make into flashcards. Students can cut and paste small cats and mice ( provided on a separate sheet) in the appropriate locations to illustrate the text.
Jul’s Gems is a speech therapist-created collection of mini books that teachers and speech therapists can use to target specific I.E.P. and curriculum goals. Since students need to develop multiple skills to become better speakers, listeners and readers, EACH BOOK HAS MULTIPLE OBJECTIVES CLEARLY STATED on the cover. This makes the targeted skills apparent to parents and other professionals who maybe able to review and reinforce the skills covered in your session.
These books are based on year round fun including themes like weather, seasons, holidays, animals and more.
There are repetitive and predictable texts, rhyming, and common sight words to improve fluency skills. Language skills include simple, complex and compound sentences, themed vocabulary, prepositional phrases, verb tenses, pronouns, question forms and following directions and other auditory processing skills. High repetition also provides for articulation practice.
Just print, cut each sheet of two book pages in half and staple the book in order according to the page numbers.
