Instead of pointing out the things students do wrong each day, why not begin the "Good Things I've Done Today" reflection activity. In this product there are many different templates on the idea of doing "good." Students can consider such things as: pushing in my chair, or being very cooperative, raising their hands, smiling, writing in their best handwriting, etc. And if they cannot think of anything, well then that in and of itself is telling them something. So, perhaps they will be able to write down an idea the following day. The point is to focus on the positive each and everyday!
This product allows children to self-reflect at the end of each day, or even after recess. It is especially useful in June when the tendency is for students to lose focus.
Use which template you like and then collect your students' individual work to create a booklet of "The Good Things I've Done Today." I guarentee you everyone's behavior will improve!
Product contains 11 different sentence starters templates [duplicates of these templates are included totaling a collection of 47]
