Bass Clef - Treble Clef - Editable
This product will help you explain octaves and scientific pitch numbers to students.
The product is multi-layered, multi-scene. Sorry, I don't have a better way to describe it. I guess you'll just have to download the preview to see it in action. :)
It's actually is from my guitar book. I believe in showing my students the entire "landscape". It just takes some of the mystery out of music in general.
The next step would be this product: Musical Instrument Ranges - Editable PowerPoint w/ Handouts
The file very simple to use, layers can be move around or deleted to suit your needs
and a PNG and JPEG in 300 dpi resolution is also included. You can use it in a handout for your class. I'm sure you'll have your own ideas as to what to do with the blank space for your class, i.e. a text box with questions etc.
You will see it all in the free demo:
Just click on "Slide Show"/ "From The Beginning" in your PowerPoint program, then use the right arrow keys > on your keyboard.
The first thing you'll see is a piano keyboard. Right arrow or click through the slide show.

In case your interested:
These products are quite a "turn" from my usual recorder sheet music as you well know. Here's my reason for uploading these products:
A few years ago I wrote 3 books for my guitar classes. I decided to never upload them because the world..doesn't need more guitar books. It already has plenty.
Instead I'm going to "sell them for parts" (ha, ha). I figured, I put a lot of work into them to help me teach, and there's no sense just to have it just sit on my computer.
So maybe some other teachers can use them. I hope you'll find them as useful and most of all effective, as I have.
