State test prep for math has never been so fantastically disgusting! Kiddos get their noses smeared with “snot” (I used vegetable shortening and green food coloring, but you could use Vaseline, slime, ???) then use their noses to pick up a review question to answer. I set up stations for each category, with themed names such as Snot Rockets, Boogers, Goobers, Nose Nuggets, Bats in the Cave, and Nose Slugs, and groups rotated through each. Kids can practice everything from rounding to fractions to division and just giggle and love every minute!
Use THIS student booklet for recording answers for the questions in
6 pages of questions, 8 questions per page and covers:
Goobers: Addition, Subtraction, Rounding
Nose Slugs: Division
Snot Rockets: Fractions
Nostril Nuggets: Elapsed Time, Area, and Perimeter
Bats in the Cave: Geometry
