Learn about Martin Luther King, Jr. and Rosa Parks using the effective strategy of compare and contrast!
This mini-research unit on two of our great civil rights icons provides the opportunity to learn about MLK and Rosa Parks by comparing similarities and differences.
The Great Civil Rights Comparison Project provides your students with a fun and engaging journal to record their research. To help them along, a research link page with three web links is provided for both MLK and Rosa Parks. QR codes and hyperlink addresses are included.
Your students will research with guided topics, create a venn diagram to visualize the compare/contrast and write up a short summary of their findings.
