Product Description
This PowerPoint Presentation covers major areas of the Great Depression, FDR's character and his proactive, yet somewhat controversial methods towards resolving the Great Depression. The first lecture deals with the origins of the Great Depression. It is done in an easy to follow, uniquely engaging, but informative manner. The presentation transitions into a juxtaposition between Hoover and FDR's personalities, as well as their policies during this era. The New Deal is then presented in a simple yet effective manner. The presentation goes on to illustrate the successes, failures and controversies surrounding the New Deal. The presentation concludes with a lecture on the Dust Bowl. Throughout the presentation there are links to YOUTUBE websites, that would benefit the portion of the presentation where the link is featured. In addition, there are a couple of group activities present. There are compatible lessons that correlate with the New Deal and Dust Bowl, that will be available at Morra's History Shop shortly. The New Deal activity is a original Graphic Organizer, and the Dust Bowl component is a Jigsaw Activity. Thank you, hope you enjoy the product. Any feedback is appreciated!
