A user-friendly graphic organizer that I use to help students think about the particular lessons being communicated by Lewis in each scene involving a "ghost" in The Great Divorce. Boxes on the chart include elements such as the ghost's "sin," intended lesson, and an important quote. For me, it's been a great way to break down a deceptively complex book into manageable and concrete lesson plans for high schoolers trying to wrap their minds around Lewis' intentions.
