Dreams are a significant focus in The Great Gatsby---the American Dream
and the dreams of individuals.
Have your students think and talk about dreams--the benefits and the dangers.
Students are divided into five small groups.
Each group is assigned a statement, for example,
--- "Everyone, like Gatsby, chases illusions while neglecting reality."
Referring to the questions below each statement, the group is then required to develop a mini-presentation.
Illustrate how there is a bit of Gatsby in all of us.
Clear font and a relevant graphic.
