Help your students make sense of the geographical setting in F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel, The Great Gatsby, with this close-reading setting map project and worksheet. Using the map template, students label the select locations on the map, adding textual evidence and creating a small symbol representative of the area.
This activity can be used after reading Chapter 2 or once your class has completed the novel. Samples of student work are provided.
