This is a writing activity where the students get to take on the role of one of the animals in the book
They will decide whether or not the tree should be cut down as their main argument, supported by reasons and examples from the book as well as their own. They will write a letter to the man who is in the forest to cut down the tree. It also follows the writing process of Pre-Write, Rough Draft, Revise, Edit, Publish.
