ACTIVITY: No prep needed other than to print off copies of this short story about Lucky the Leprechaun and his friends trying to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a water balloon fight, until Leo spoils it with his misunderstanding of solids, liquids, and gases.
Print off and place the copies in your centers or whole group.
Use your students’ or child’s performance to determine which ones are ready to move on and which need to be pulled into small group for reteaching.
MATERIALS: Besides crayons or colored pencils to color their student artifact/evidence of learning, none, just print off enough copies of the activity that you need.
