This "Greco-Persian Wars" Activity includes:
1) A graphic organizer about three major players in the war; Athens, Sparta and Persia. The graphic organizer asks students to fill out different aspects to their society and military. Following this, students will be asked questions about four of the most important battles of the war; Ionia, Marathon, Thermopylae and Salamis. Finally, students will read a passage from Herodotus about his account of the last stand of the 300 Spartans. This will allow students to step into the time and read actually language written 2500 years ago.
2) A detailed answer key to help make grading a breeze and guide student understanding.
