The Grieving Frog is a story about a frog whose best friend has died. The story explores the stages of grief and loss he experiences, including denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. The frog experiences common grief distortions, and feeling avoidant behaviors. The frog eventually discovers through his friendships a way he can heal from his loss.

In addition to the 20 page healing story for any child that has lost a pet, special loved one, or friend, a cute feelings chart to identify which feelings one is experiencing, a spinner to determine which question cards to choose, and the following is included:

1. Over 24 therapeutic thought provoking questions plus related to The Very Sad Frog story. Plus, 12 questions for older children.

2. Forty feelings questions related to the child's specific grief.

3. Over 30 question prompts for remembering the loved one of the user, such as, draw a picture of your loved one holding you, describe how your loved one would want you to feel now, and how will you memorialize your loved one?

4. Over 30 question prompts for self-care and coping with the loss of the child's loved one, such as draw a picture of you laughing, draw a picture of you being kind to yourself, draw a picture of you feeling better.
