Students analyze the Grinch by working in pairs to do various level of Bloom’s: Describe the Grinch (web students write words/phrases to describe what the Grinch is like), Compare (students write/draw what/who the Grinch is similar to and what/who he different from), Associate (What does the Grinch make you think of), Analyze (What is he like and how did he get that way?), Apply (What can we learn from the Grinch), and Argue for or against the Grinch.

*What Christmas Means to Me Book
After discussing the themes of both books (The Grinch and The Smallest Gift of Christmas), students write about their smallest gift (most important) and what Christmas means to them.
