The Grouchy Ladybug is one of my favorite Eric Carle books and my students absolutely LOVE it! They love the repetitive nature of the book, which is great for improving reading skills and reading aloud. Not only is the story cute with amazing illustrations (which also make so many wonderful yoga poses!) but it's also a useful tool when talking with children about bullying and the importance of kindness and using their manners. It's a great book for younger children for social emotional learning. We've also included 3 blank cards in case you want to add notes for this lesson plan or use them for a writing or drawing activity about bullying/being kind (only two are shown in the preview, but there are three). Please be sure to check out the preview.
There are 28 cards total, 18 individual pose cards, photos are of actual children doing yoga poses (not animated). Printing tips are also included in the .pdf.

*****Printing Tips & Options*******
Each card is approximately 3.75"W x 4.75"H in size (designed for 4 cards fit on a standard 8.5" x 11" piece of paper). You can adjust the size in your printer settings to customize the cards for your needs. If you don't alter your printer settings, you may have one large image per page.
You can print more on a page for smaller cards (drop down menu in "More settings" where it says "Pages per sheet") and it will give you other options for how many cards you would like on a sheet.
