'The H-Brothers' is a story used to teach 5 consonant digraphs (sh, th, wh, ch, ph). These posters can be used as anchor charts (or part of an anchor chart) when teaching these digraphs.
Impolite Theo is very rude and goes around the house all day sticking his tongue out and making the 'th' sound. Musical Whit loves to whistle, but he's not very good at it, only able to make the 'wh' sound. Crazy Charlie loves trains and is constantly running around the house with them making the 'ch' sound of the choo choo trains. Talkative Phil never gets off the phone. And poor Quiet Shawn is so sick and tired of all the noise in the house, that he runs around the house saying 'sh' to quiet his brothers down.
