ABSOLUTELY NO PREP! JUST PRINT AND GO!

This is an amusing Escape Room for 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th graders to assess their understanding of place value and adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing decimals. This would also be an awesome review before testing in the Spring. The theme of this Escape Room is: The Hacker.

The students have to complete four separate tasks in order to discover the Hacker and prevent the destruction internet before it is lost forever. Each task pertains to a different operation using decimals.

This Escape Room is in a Power Point format. I printed each slide in a full page format and put them in clear plastic sleeves, so each class could use the same copies. I separated my students into groups and printed a copy of the slides (1 - 7) for each group. As each group finishes a task, I verify their answer using my answer key. I then provide them with the next task to complete. Once a group completes task 4 accurately, they have successfully prevented the destruction of the internet, foiled the Hacker's plans, and escaped the Decimals: All Operations Escape Room. I have included a certificate in the set of slides as well.
