Product Description
This project is used as an extension for the book, The Hallo-wiener, by Dav Pilkey. This popular Halloween story is about a dachshund named Oscar, who is made fun of by other dogs, but turns out to be a hero in the end. This resource is meant to be used at the end of the story. It can be used in school, or as a take home project. Your students will enjoy coloring and completing this dachshund shaped booklet. The activity pages are the shape of a hot dog bun. The pages will be cut out and stapled to the dog upon completion. The following skills will be practiced: literary elements, character analysis, real vs. make-believe, important events, and dictionary skills.
