Use this great packet to sequence the events of the story using beginning, middle, and end or first, second, third. Use the chart to track keywords in the story and illustrate the details while you read. Then create the craftivity book using the details from your chart!
After talking about being in “someone else’s shoes” and perspective taking, have students think about what it might be like to be a character from the story. Have students track character traits using the first graph, then choose a character to elaborate on using the 4 box chart. Students can choose to rewrite the story from the perspective of the sock, or from the perspective of the character they choose!
