Product Description
This activity is to be used after students have read chs. 10-13. Clearly, the impact of prejudice is an important theme in the novel. Through this activity students will be exposed to eye opening experiments—they will learn about Drs. Kenneth and Mammie Clark’s doll test and they will see Kiri Davis’s repeat experiment just a few years ago. (Links provided to articles and videos.) Students will then use their insight to think about how prejudice impacts the novel’s characters.
