This bundle contains a digital copy of the book "The Hockey Radio" and a copy of the teacher's guide.
This is a fiction picture book that will appeal to both boys and girls who love sports.
Wouldn't every young hockey player like some winning tips before each game? Well, Michael gets more than just winning tips. On the radio his grandparents give him, the announcer gives him details about the game he hasn't even played yet.

The Teacher's Guide
Kids love hockey! Teachers love ready-made tiered lessons that work! Use any combination of the high interest activity pages to support your students' varying readiness levels. These student-tested activity pages were written by the author of The Hockey Radio.
The activities in this guide are based on the levels of thinking according to Bloom's Taxonomy (remembering, understanding, applying, analysing, evaluation, creating). This will help you choose the best activity according to the abilities and interests of your students. It is "Differentiated Instruction" done for you! Each activity has been created using "A" as the lowest level and a progression up Bloom's Taxonomy to "D" being the highest. The activity pages provide options for you and your students.
Activities included in the packet target the following language arts skills:
- composing a friendly letter
- main idea
- character analysis
- writing a book report
Also included is a choice board of activities that can be given to students. Activities are based on interests and ability levels.
