It is a selection of stories to teach students about the Holocaust. They will learn what the Holocaust was about, why we should remember its victims, and what we should do to avoid hatred and cruelty in the future. There are some stories about the Holocaust survivors with writing activities after them. It will ask students to answer some questions and write a constructed response. There will be two stories about the Holocaust survivors that had to live in hiding during the World War II. After reading their stories students will write an essay to compare the Holocaust survivors' perspectives. They will also work on a narrative essay to write a story of a Jewish teenager hiding during the Holocaust. And the final activity will be to create a poster about the Holocaust. After reading all the stories and working on them, students will have an idea what had happened in the past and why we need to remember and honor the Holocaust victims.
