Product Description
Are your government/US History students struggling with their understanding of Federalism? This project will help bring the levels of government to life by requiring students to write and possibly perform or record a screenplay of their fictional life as a lawmaker. Students will start by completing the autobiographical outline listed at beginning of the project. They will then work to complete the graphic organizer with details and experiences from their life as an elected official. Next, students will begin the writing their autobiography using their outline and focus questions to guide their thinking. Finally, those students with the best autobiographies will be selected to turn their book, into a TV movie, just like the Netflix hit, House of Cards. Trust me, this is a project your students will never forget!
