This activity is ideal for kinesthetic learners, or squirmy students that love moving! Students are points in a quadrant, and must move themselves from one point to another. It is a lovely activity to help solidify the concept of ordered pairs in a creative way. Whether you use this as a station, whole class activity, or remedial, your students are sure to enjoy it!
The directions are as such that students guide themselves from point to point. Additionally, certain directions will direct a "point" to decide where the other "points" will move.
Please note that the activity requires the teacher to create a giant plane (or one quadrant) on the floor ahead of time. Duck tape is my tape of choice for creating the grid.
