The Hundred Dresses Comprehension Journal combines higher level written response and multiple choice questions along with vocabulary for each chapter. Each chapter begins with a purpose for reading located at the top of the journal page to help guide students thinking as they read. At the end of each chapter, students are asked to "Take a Stand" which involves synthesizing, the highest level of understanding.
This resource can be used for independent reading, guided reading, whole group instruction, and literature circles.
