Product Description
The following ten-question multiple choice quiz assesses a student's understanding on the differences between the novel "The Hunger Games" (2008) and its film adaptation "The Hunger Games" (2012). The quiz can be used as a simple assessment to see who read the work versus who just watched the movie instead, but it can also be used to discuss the choices filmmakers made when adapting the work. For example, the characterization of Cato and "Foxface" is dramatically different in the film adaptation than in the novel. Considering that author Suzanne Collins co-penned the screenplay, this assessment can be used in many different lessons as a closing activity on this teaching unit.
