Description
Thanks to my friend Margaret Whisnant, here's a lesson you can use to teach or review mood and how the author sets the tone in a novel. Margaret took these great pictures where the movie for "The Hunger Games" was shot. They created the perfect opportunity to discuss how both movie-makers and authors can influence the mood of a piece.
The free download includes teacher's directions, guided discussion questions & optional handout, and the embedded images, which can be projected or printed. I also included my blogpost article, which includes additional discussion.
