PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This is a simple, beautiful Anticipation Guide Pre-Reading activity for a novel study of the Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. The Anticipation Guide asks students to consider such statements as "It is never okay to kill" or "People who steal should be punished" and either agree or disagree. Then, after reading Chapter One of The Hunger Games, they are to revisit the statements and decide whether Katniss, given her unique circumstances, would agree or disagree.

This is a fun pre-reading activity that makes students appreciate another person's perspective on issues they might have previously considered black and white.
