Designed for middle to senior year students, this 2-3 lesson resource pack provides for students an introduction in to the Industrial Revolution; a topic that is typically quite boring for students to initially engage in. With this activity, students will understand the concept of Europe's changing landscape and how it shifted from farms to factories.
A two to three lesson activity, the mini-unit engages students in historical events whilst similarly immersing them in a self-created design of a changing English village. Students literally draw a village as it changes from 1700 in to the mid-1800's - this doesn't require exceptional drawing schools and has been enjoyed by all levels of students over the past decade.
Accompanying the resource is also instructions and a modelled example.
