The Interactive Completion Checklist is an example of one of the many features in my Interactive (Standards-Based) Grade Book. You can use the Completion Checklist to keep track of student completion of homework assignments, permission slips, etc.
There are three tabs in this workbook.
-The first tab is a personalization page. On this page, you will input the names of your students, your workbook subject and quarter, the standard codes you will be assessing, and any comments you will like to be able to select from. You only have to input this information one time!
-The second tab is a completion checklist. The information you entered on the personalization page will auto-populate on the checklist. Simply select the standard code that your assignment correlates to from the drop-down list, record the date, and the name of the assignment, and you are ready to mark student completion. The second page on this tab (below the checklist) can be utilized to view the data of one student at a time. All you need to do is select the student’s name from the drop-down list. This page would be great to print for a parent-teacher conference.
-The third tab contains directions for copying a page in the workbook (in order to allow room for more assignments) and for saving a copy of the workbook for each subject and quarter that you teach.
If you like The Interactive Completion Checklist, think about purchasing a copy of The Interactive Grade Book. The Grade Book version already contains a completion checklist, in addition to tabs to record student grades and data by common core domain/standard, one-click creation of graphs of student data, auto-calculating averages and totals, and much-much more to make your data recording as simple as possible.
*Please note: This workbook is compatible on both PC and MAC computers that have a version of Microsoft Excel (2003 or later) installed. It is not yet compatible on a tablet without a fully functioning version of Microsoft Excel.*
