The following six-page study guide film packet is used to accompany the Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg-directed 2014 American comedy, The Interview. It can be used in an English or film studies classroom. The first page contains a list of cast and crew and a background and introduction on the film. The second page is a page that allows viewers to jot and take down their own notes in the style or formatting of Cornell notes. Pages three, four, and five feature comprehension questions to guide the viewer on the work's allusions, camera movement, characterization, cinematography, conflict (internal vs. external), editing, foreshadowing, irony, plot, slow motion, sound, story, style, symbolism, and themes. The sixth page contains discussion questions on the work's characterization, genre characteristics, motifs, sociocultural context, and themes.
